Attention: Address Change

Notting Hill is fabulous, but not only because it's associated with two of my favorite British blokes, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant. In my opinion, Notting Hill would be one of the coolest places on Earth to live. Neat bookshops that sell many hidden treasures are always around the corner, and the Portobello Market is fun and diverse...(and maybe I would eventually bump into Colin Firth at the coffee house he owns or Hugh Grant as he's walking out his blue front door!) Here are some pics of the adventures in my and Ryan's future neighborhood.
My first trip to Notting Hill was on a Saturday afternoon. The main street, Portobello Road, is famous for its market. Amazing street food and produce stands span down the entire street.

People set up shop all along Portobello Road. Besides the great street food, you can find everything from tea cups to magnifying glasses to bird cages for sale on the street or behind the stands in local shops.

I enjoyed a great cappuccino in Colin Firth's coffee house called Progreso. He owns two coffee houses in London, one on Portobello Road and one in Covent Garden.

Walking all along the street, you never escape live music.

Self-explanatory

These are some of the most photographed buildings along Portobello Road

Ryan joined me for my second trip to Notting Hill, and we went to The Travel Bookshop. It is the bookshop that William, played by Hugh Grant, owns in the movie Notting Hill.

Ryan and I had a lot of fun in the bookshop and in Notting Hill. In fact, we had so much fun that we might just move there! Stay tuned!
